Empowering Community Connections
The Hayocks Community Association serves as a central hub for community support and engagement. Based in Hayocks Hall, we help connect residents with local support services, organise community events and activities, operate a daily café offering affordable prices, and maintain a food larder to assist individuals in need.

Together, We Can Make a Difference
We organise events and activities for our local community to promote positive mental well-being, reduce isolation, and foster connections. We place particular emphasis on children, providing them with opportunities to socialise and engage in fun activities, while also easing the financial burden on families.
Through our fundraising efforts and community café, we address everyday poverty and local issues, all while hosting events for our community.
Join us in enhancing lives and strengthening the spirit of the Hayocks community. Your participation can truly make a difference!!

Community Events
Our organisation aims to provide enjoyable activities for local residents. Our popular subsidised or free events, include themed celebrations for Halloween, Easter, Christmas, Winter Warmth, Summer Trips, and Youth Café sessions. Additionally, we offer weekly groups in the Hall for various interests and ages, such as Little Duckies Toddlers, Knit and Natter, and Dancing. We also encourage groups and clubs to email us about starting their own activities at Hayocks.

Support Services
We work closely with local organisations in North Ayrshire, focusing our resources on reducing child poverty, easing financial pressures, supporting those affected by addiction, and promoting mental health. Through partnerships, we aim to make a positive impact on our community.

Fundraising Initiatives
We are always looking for new and engaging ways to raise funds, and we sincerely appreciate the generous donations from local businesses that enable us to provide direct assistance to those in need. Every bit of support is crucial for The Tap End Community Larder and allowing us to organise various community events throughout the year.

Community Café & Larder
Our budget-friendly café offers affordable meals and a welcoming atmosphere for all. Open daily for breakfast and lunch, and a blether! In partnership with North Ayrshire Council, The Tap End Larder provides weekly access to essential staple store cupboard items at low cost for those experiencing food poverty.
